Lárus graduated from the Icelandic School of Commerce in 1981. Lárus completed most of the courses taught by the Insurance Companies' School of Insurance between 1981 and 1990. He then completed his studies at the Open University of Iceland in insurance in 2008. Lárus received his license as a licensed insurance broker in May 2012.

Lárus started working at Almennar tryggingar in September 1981 and worked there and later at Sjóvá-Almennar with breaks until 2010 in consulting and business management with companies.

In 2010, Lárus founded Consello ehf. together with Guðmundur Ólafur Hafsteinsson.

Lárus' main areas of work are assisting companies and institutions in setting up All Risks insurance, CYBER insurance, liability insurance, contractor insurance, project insurance, as well as supervising price surveys and tenders.

Lárus is the managing director of Consello ehf.

Guðmundur is a business economist from the International Business School in Jönköping, graduating in 1995. Guðmundur received his license as a licensed insurance broker in April 2012.

Guðmundur has worked mostly in aviation operations since 1982, with the exception of the years 1990 to 1995. Among other things, Guðmundur has worked at Arnarflug, Atlanta and Avion Group, most of the time as Managing Director of Human Resources and later as Managing Director of Insurance at Avion Group. In these positions, Guðmundur has gained very extensive experience and knowledge of purchasing insurance, which he now mediates in his work as a consultant and insurance broker. In 2010, Guðmundur founded Consello ehf together with Lárus Hrafnur Lárusson. Guðmundur has worked in the Lloyds insurance market in London for approximately 35 years.

Guðmundur is the acting chairman of Consello ehf.

Guðmundur is a business graduate from Reykjavík University and graduated from the RU Open University in insurance in 2012.

He worked in corporate consulting at Kaupthing from 2005 to 2009 and Sjóvá from 2009 to 2013. Before joining Consello in 2015, he worked at Tryggja ehf, providing advice to companies in insurance matters.

Guðmundur's main area of work is overseeing price surveys and tenders as well as consulting.
